Rainham Central Councillor's support 5th Rainham North Guides

Rainham Central Councillor's Barry Kemp, Reh Chishti and Mike O'Brien visited the 5th Rainham North Guides last night to present them with a Sound System that the Guides purchased with some of the £300 donated from the Rainham Central Councillor's Ward Fund. Unit leader Paula Sharp said "We have been struggling with an antiquated sound system and will be able to use the new sound system in future meetings.We will also use the balance of the money to purchase camping equipment. The Councillor's said "We are pleased to help the 5th Rainham North Guides, particularly as Girl guiding is celebrating it's Centenary year. It is a very successful unit with 35 members In addition to other activities, the unit has learnt to juggle and has also taken a self defence class."
