The Planning Committee have given permission for this development to now go ahead, subject to the main change that your Rainham Central Councillors have campaigned for, and that was a bungalow in place of the proposed house adjacent to number 41 Maidstone Road. Your Rainham Central Councillors have fought a long campaign against this development and have attempted to get MHS Homes to consider Sheltered Housing. However, this was not to be the case. In the meantime, MHS Homes are still appealing against the previous decision to build a house next door to number 41 and we have to hope that the Inspector does not grant this appeal.
